Steve is the Founder and CEO of Liguori Innovation. The firm specializes in helping organizations rapidly transform their leadership practices so they can enable new sources of growth. As GE’s Executive Director – Global Innovation through 2014, Steve was instrumental in major efforts to re-invigorate GE’s organic growth including launching their Internet-of-Things “Industrial Internet” digital transformation and deploying Lean Startup principles across GE through the “FastWorks” initiative.
Steve is an expert at applying startup related techniques that stress leadership, speed and improved customer outcomes in complex organizations. His signature expertise focuses on the area of “Disruptive Innovation – Doing it and Leading it!” He is sought out for applying innovation leadership to large firms and startups alike.
Steve acts as an “Innovation Accelerator” says Beth Comstock, Vice Chairwoman of General Electric. He brings a background of thought leadership in diverse categories such as the Internet-of-Things, consumer goods, technology, heavy industry, financial services, and healthcare.
Steve is on the Mckinsey Advisory Board, has taught at Columbia Business School as an Adjunct Professor and served as Chairman of the ANA’s Business Marketing Association, the world’s largest organization of business-to-business professionals.
Steve’s distinctions include being named a Marketer of the Year 2 times, Harvard Business Review author, and Chairman’s Award winner at both Citigroup and GE. Additionally, he launched the original Super Bowl Halftime show with none other than Michael Jackson.

Eric Ries is an entrepreneur and the author of the New York Times bestseller The Lean Startup, which has sold over one million copies and has been translated into more than thirty languages. He is the creator of the Lean Startup methodology, which has become a global movement in business, practiced by individuals and companies around the world. This methodology was the inspiration behind his founding of the LTSE and his books The Leader’s Guide and The Startup Way.
He has founded a number of startups, including IMVU, where he served as CTO, and he has advised on business and product strategy for startups, venture capital firms, and large companies, including GE, with whom he partnered to create the FastWorks program. Eric has served as an entrepreneur-in-residence at Harvard Business School, IDEO, and Pivotal, and he is the founder and CEO of the Long-Term Stock Exchange.
He lives in San Francisco with his wife and two children.
